Indicate Interest with Pictures/Video
Access and fill up our Online Donation Form to indicate your interest to donate a particular instrument/accessory, stating its condition. Upload a max. of 5 photos and a 30-sec video of someone playing the instrument (with clear instrumental sound). We'll reply to you within 1 to 3 working days.

Transaction Completion / Cancellation
When the sale has been completed at the point the buyer has made a self-collection or when the delivery arrangement has been fulfilled, please send us a text message on our Whatsapp 82232515 and attach a picture that shows the instrument/accessory has been successfully transferred over to the buyer. However, if after inspecting the donated item and found the item to be damaged, defective, unsafe, or materially different from the furnished information as listed on our website, the buyer may decline to complete the transaction. At which point, send us a text message to confirm the incomplete transaction.
Transaction Cancellation Policy
Please note that should the transaction be cancelled at the point of self-collection or delivery, the donor and the buyer shall each bear their own costs associated with collection, delivery, transportation, or any other related expenses, unless otherwise agreed between them. Der Poet Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for any costs, losses, or expenses incurred by either party arising from the cancelled or incomplete transaction.

Expect Buyer to Make Contact
Your donated instrument/accessory will be on display in our Online Shop until such time a buyer makes a purchase. Thereafter, the buyer will contact you to arrange for a self-collection or make other delivery arrangement. Kindly pack/store the instrument/accessory in a safe place for the buyer.

Review & Acceptance of Donation
We will review the instrument/accessory donation details you sent us. Should your donation be accepted by der Poet Ltd, your donated item will be put up on listing on our Online Shop.
Donor FAQs
How are my donations used?
Every gift helps us share God's love in practical ways. (I) For every direct financial giving to DER POET LTD, 100% goes towards sustaining our work and operating costs. (II) For every donated pre-owned music instrument or accessory sold through our online shop, 100% of our net profits is channeled directly to OHF programs focused on providing quality education for orphans and abandoned children and helping impoverished households.
Can I donate music instruments so long as they are usable?
Yes and No. Yes, we warmly welcome instruments that are fully functional in good condition. No, just because an instrument is usable does not necessarily mean it has been properly maintained in a good condition over time. Music instruments that have obvious physical or structural defects or mechanical flaws will not be accepted by us. Please kindly take time to find out more from our site's Donation Terms & Guidelines webpage on what our organization generally can and cannot accept as donated items, as well as what are the information that will be required from donors. To start, access our Online Donation Form. Simply fill in the details of your donation and attach required photos of the instrument and a brief video clip (30-sec) of the instrument being played. We'll review it carefully to ensure its next owner finds joy in acquiring a music instrument of good condition.
Can I make a financial giving to Der Poet Ltd? Is it tax-deductible?
We are grateful for every donation coming in, whether in the form of a music instrument or in cash. At Der Poet Ltd, we term any financial donation made to us as "financial sponsorship". If you give financially to Der Poet Ltd in any amount, whether as a one-time giving or a recurring giving, we refer you as our "financial sponsor". As a Singapore registered non-profit organization, we provide official receipts for all financial contributions anyway, regardless of whether our financial sponsors can or cannot get tax-deductible benefits. We recommend consulting with your local tax professional to determine what is the specific deductibility or non-deductibility based on your unique personal or corporate situation.
What if I want to make a direct cash donation to Operation Hope Foundation?
Der Poet Ltd is happy to support the missional work of OHF. If you would like to make a direct financial contribution to OHF, you can visit OHF's website or email admin@ohf.org.sg directly. Every donation, whether it is an instrument donated to Der Poet Ltd or a direct financial contribution made to OHF, helps us collectively expand our reach and deepen our impact in the communities we serve.
How can I set up a recurring financial gift to Der Poet Ltd?
Setting up a monthly partnership is a beautiful way to provide steady support for our operations. At this moment, we only accept financial sponsorship made via PayNow or Direct Bank Transfer. However, you may set up a GIRO on a monthly basis through your own bank if you would like to contribute financially to our mission on a consistent basis, ensuring sustainable care for the persons we serve together.
